NSFWho.exe
A downloadable game for Windows
The Operating System is the Game

In NSFWho.exe, you do not control a character moving through a traditional game world. The operating system is the world.
You log in as NullID69. Cases arrive on your desktop, along with messages from clients and the first pieces of evidence. From there, you decide where to look and which details are worth following.
The applications are connected. A username mentioned in a chat could lead to another account. A date hidden in a photograph might be a password. Something that looked unimportant ten minutes ago may suddenly solve the next part of the case.
Eventually, your own desktop will not be enough. Open the terminal, find the correct access point, and connect to the target’s OS.
Everything happens through the system. Every file you open may reveal something its owner wanted to keep private.
Every Case Starts Here
Open the Case App to see the available assignments.
Each case tells you who hired you, who you are investigating, and what the client wants you to find. The briefing gives you enough information to begin, but it will not explain every step. Read it carefully and decide where to start.
A name, username, date, or short message may be useful later, even if it does not seem important at first.

Choose a case and read the information provided by the client.
Use the Terminal
Once you have something useful, open the Terminal.
This is where information gathered during the investigation turns into commands. Use addresses, usernames, and passwords you have discovered to search for systems and create remote connections.
You will need to enter the information yourself. If a command fails, check what you typed and return to the evidence. You may have missed a detail or used the right clue in the wrong place.

Use the information you found to establish a connection.
Search the Remote OS
A successful connection opens the target’s Remote OS.
It works like another desktop, with its own applications, conversations, emails, files, and galleries. Search through them to find the information required by the case.
Some files can be opened immediately. Others are hidden or protected by passwords. The clue needed to unlock something may be located in a different application, so expect to move between messages, notes, photographs, and documents.
You can focus on the assignment or continue searching for things the client never mentioned.

Explore the target’s OS and look for relevant evidence.
Check Your Progress
Return to the Case App during the investigation to see what you have completed.
Important steps are marked as you progress through the case. This makes it easier to see what you have already done and which parts of the assignment still need attention.
The Case App tracks the main investigation, but it does not show every optional discovery. A case may be complete while private conversations, encrypted files, or hidden folders remain undiscovered.

Review the completed steps and continue with the remaining objectives.
What Will You Do With the Evidence?
Finishing an investigation usually leaves you with more information than the client asked for.
You can submit only what is relevant to the case, or include everything you discovered along the way. Private conversations, photographs, hidden relationships, and personal secrets may have nothing to do with the original assignment, but that does not make them useless.
What you include in the final report can change how the case ends.

would love a mac port for this game if possible.
Can i have people rate this game so i know it's reputable and not malware? I've been burned by steam, wallpaper engine, and fake Itch.io nsfw games using AI to mine crypto. (Which i don't have.)
Help the developers out and spread the word that they don't got cyber STDs. No offense meant, I'm really interested.
If you’re interested in playing but worried about malware, check out my Discord. There are already plenty of players there who can confirm it’s just a game and there’s no malware or anything shady in it.
AI images?
Yes, AI-generated. I do the character design, prompts, styling, then use AI as the tool to actually create the visuals.
Is there a tool for decoding ciphers in the game? If so i cant find it
There isn’t an in-game decoder for that. You’re supposed to use real cipher decoders outside the game.
Great game ! I'm really racking my brain trying to finish my first case—the ballerina one—but the last four steps are giving me a hard time. I've noticed a few bugs : the "cd .." command moves up two directories instead of one, and sometimes windows get "stuck" to the mouse cursor, making it impossible to close them. Also, the mouse wheel should work normally everywhere; in the command prompt, a single scroll up sends you all the way to the top.
Thanks a lot for playing and for the detailed feedback!
I’ve noted those bugs and I’ll work on fixing them. Stay tuned for updates too, I’ve got more interesting, deeper cases and puzzles planned for the game.
animated scenes?
Hi! There are videos in the game, yeah, but the actual scenes themselves aren’t animated.
